This months rally we will be practicing some of the skills we will need for our Formal Gymkhana. This will include flat work (covering rider class), theory covering horses handling (including youth handler class), jumping (working on lines and approach, groups 1 & 2 will work more with poles on the ground), sporting (covering the 3 events we didn't cover last month that will be in our formal gymkhana program).
Carmen Coombs will give a talk at morning tea regarding what to expect at our Formal Gymkhana so if you have younger riders that will only make it until morning tea we do suggest you hang around to hear what is explained.
Please make sure you sign in on arrival so we can ensure our groups are balanced.
Approximate Schedule - subject to unforeseen changes
The day will have 4 rotations to include flatwork, gridwork (jumping), sporting and horsemanship.
Details of timings are in the March Newsletter
Please ensure you ask if you have any queries, we are always happy to answer any questions
